But since a few years back, it has garners tourist to enjoy not just the seafood, but other activities as well, namely a trip to Sky Mirror, fireflies boat cruise (kelip-kelip in Malay) and now, eagle feeding
Sky Mirror
Sasaran Beach is a unique tourist attraction that is only accessible to tourists twice a month, i.e. during the new moon and full moon periods. You see, Sasaran Beach is located 1.74 nautical miles off the coast of the fishing village of Jeram, Selangor, in the middle of the Straits of Malacca Sea. It is when the tide is ideal that this sand bar emerges, Malaysia’s own “Salar de Uyuni”. Sasaran Beach is better known as “Mirror in the Sky “as the shallow waters of this “Secret Island” reflects the sky in all its going, thus creating many unique photography and selfie opportunities for all. The Island is also the habitat for marine agriculture. The most common are the sea and baby clam scattered abundantly in the sand.
Eagle Tour
During the day, hop into a boat and experience eagles hovering above you in the sky and swooping down to the waters to nab the chicken snacks that was tossed out by the tour guide. By nightfall , cruise along the Selangor River and be amazed by the twinkling lights of the beautiful fireflies.
Firefly Tour
Who needs fairy light when we have our very own fireflies that light up the trees along the mangrove of the Selangor River.
Hope onto a boat and experience a beautiful array of twinkling lights that lines the trees along the river.
Blue Tears Tour
The glowing waters are caused by certain algae called dinoflagellates, which produce a glowing light when the water they are living in is disturbed by motion. They can actually be found in most of the world’s oceans but are generally too small and dim to see.

Good to Know
Suggest to bring along hat/cap, umbrella, sunglasses, sunblock, camera, towel, slipper and 1 set of cloth
Wear colourful appearance to make reflection pop
Bring shampoo if intend to have a shower at jetty toilet
Extra clothes will be put in the car. Guests can change their wet clothes when back to the jetty.
People who are afraid cold can bring along jacket or scarf.
No smoking is allowed during the trip, until return to the jetty.
Strictly no rubbish throwing on the attractions and please pickup the rubbish on the floor when you have seen it.
Strictly no taken any marine life away from the beach regardless it is death or alive.
There is no toilet on the mirror, but the boat is with toilet.
Departure time will be different subject to tide level and date. Departure time for every 1st and 15th of lunar month will be 8am; Departure time for 10th-15 and 24th-30th will be around 7am to 7.30am;Departure time for 2nd -9th and 16th-23th will be delay 30 minutes for each day.
Sky Mirror phenomena does not happen every day. Emerge for 16-18 days every month Only in the 1st and 15th of lunar month, and 4 days before and after the dates, where the sea level are low.
There is no best time to visit Sky Mirror, the outcome of photo depends on the weather condition.
The trip will be around 1 to 3 hours, depends on the weather condition. There will be a person who go with guests along the trip.
